Cadet platoon
On september 2019, sri lanka's oldest national sport and current national sport which are
Elle and volleyball was introduced to the peradeniya junior secondary school at the same time
Karate was also introduced to the school and the junior cadet platoon was born.
Training is being conducted for karate (ages 10-18), volleyball (ages 12-18), Elle (ages 16 and above)
and the junior cadet platoon (ages 12-14). Girls and Boys are both able to participate the trainig.
All sports have training sessions at least twice a week.
In 2020, Our school was able to compete until semi-finals for Elle matches (Girls) conducted within
the kandy zone
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic where all jobs and opportunities have been delayed, we were not granted
permission to conduct training sessions as well.
